      Redlining was a term coined in the s to describe the practice of denying or charging more for service to persons in certain communities—usually Black, inner-city neighborhoods—no matter.   As a part of the research for my new book on attendance zones, we compared the attendance zone maps for these elite public schools with the racist redlining maps of the s.
